1. Choose the rules before creating the batch
Open the random password generator and choose Password or Passphrase. Adjust the length or word count, the allowed character types, and any exclusions. All items in a batch use the settings active when you press Generate batch.
For accounts that permit it, the 20-character password preset is a convenient longer choice. If you are creating passphrases, the default is six words. Read password vs passphrase if you are unsure which format will fit the accounts.
No repeated characters controls repetition inside an individual password. It is different from a requirement to assign a different secret to each account. A site can also have different rules from another site, so a single batch may not fit every service.
2. Select how many results you need
Expand Generate a batch below the main password output. Enter a number from 1 to 100 in How many?, then press Generate batch. The default batch size is ten. Each item receives a fresh random selection on your device.
If the generator shows an error, check for incompatible rules. For example, selecting No repeated characters while allowing fewer characters than the chosen length leaves no valid result. Reduce the length, remove that rule, or allow more characters, then try again.
A batch uses the current rules as a group. If a website rejects a particular symbol, adjust Allowed symbols before making the results you plan to use there.
3. Copy or download only when you need to
Copy all places the batch on your device’s clipboard. Download .txt saves a text file containing the generated results. Keep that file private: downloading it does not turn it into an encrypted password vault.
If your password manager has an import feature, check its required format first. A plain list of passwords is not automatically a complete import file with account names and usernames. Do not attach the batch to a public message or put it into a shared document just to make transferring it easier.
When several accounts need new credentials, assign and save each result under the correct account. Test the updated login before removing the old record or any temporary notes you still need.
4. Clear the page and manage device copies
Clear removes the batch from the page’s displayed results. Closing or refreshing the page clears its in-memory secrets too. Clearing the page does not delete a downloaded file or erase a clipboard copy you made earlier.
Once the passwords are stored where they belong, remove any temporary text file you no longer need using your device’s normal file-management tools. The generator cannot confirm that a clipboard manager, backup service, or shared folder has no other copies.
For one account at a time, the main Copy password button may be simpler than a batch. The single-password walkthrough explains choosing settings and saving the result.
